SELLER INFORMATION & TERMS OF CONSIGNMENT
OUR SERVICE
PR3LOVED takes the hassle out of selling pre-loved goods by providing a professional, personal resale service on your behalf.
Our service includes marketing, advertising, administration, buyer communication, coordination and delivery arrangements. We act as the liaison between Sellers and prospective Buyers, with the objective of achieving a successful sale while providing a convenient and professional experience for our Sellers.
Our goal is to match quality pre-loved goods with suitable Buyers while ensuring that the selling process is as simple and stress-free as possible.
SELLER INFORMATION
When completing the PR3LOVED Seller Form, you will be required to provide the minimum and maximum selling price you would ideally like to achieve for your goods.
PR3LOVED will make every reasonable effort to achieve a selling price within your requested range. However, based on our knowledge of the pre-loved market, current demand, condition, age, brand and comparable pricing, we may recommend that your pricing be adjusted to ensure that your goods remain competitive and have the best possible chance of selling.
Once your Seller Form has been received, reviewed and approved, PR3LOVED may advertise your goods through our online store and social media platforms.
Once your goods have been successfully sold, payment has been received from the Buyer and the goods have been collected, PR3LOVED will deduct a 25% commission from the final selling price and pay the Seller the remaining 75%.
PRE-LOVED PRICING GUIDELINES
To ensure that goods remain competitively priced and have a reasonable opportunity of selling, PR3LOVED generally recommends pricing pre-loved goods at approximately 30%–50% of the original retail price, depending on the item's condition, age, brand, desirability and current market value.
As a general guideline:
Used / Pre-Loved: approximately 30%–50% of original retail price.
Like New: approximately 50%–60% may be considered where the item is in exceptional condition and is highly desirable.
Never Used / Original Packaging: a higher selling price may be considered depending on the product and current market value.
Highly Desirable or Premium Items: individual consideration may be given where justified by market demand.
Please note that these percentages are guidelines rather than guarantees.
PR3LOVED reserves the right to recommend a lower selling price, decline an item or decline to advertise an item where the requested price is considered unrealistic or unlikely to attract Buyers.
Our objective is to sell your goods — not have them sit on our platform.
OUR PROCESS
1. Seller Form Received & Assessed
Your Seller Form is received and the proposed goods are assessed in accordance with our acceptance, condition and pricing guidelines.
2. Goods Approved & Advertised
Approved goods are uploaded to the PR3LOVED online store and marketed through appropriate advertising and social media channels.
3. Goods Sold
Once a Buyer has been secured, PR3LOVED will contact the Seller and arrange collection of the goods through our courier service.
4. Goods Received & Inspected
Once the goods have been received, they may be inspected to confirm that they correspond with the description provided and are in the condition represented.
5. Seller Documentation
The Seller will be required to complete and sign the relevant documentation and provide the required identification and banking information.
6. Seller Payment
Once all required documentation has been received and the transaction has been successfully completed, payment will be made to the Seller via EFT.
Please allow 5–7 working days for payment, depending on the location of the goods, courier requirements and completion of the required administrative process.
IMPORTANT SELLER REQUIREMENT
By submitting your goods to PR3LOVED, you agree to allow us a minimum period of 10 days to market and sell your goods.
During this period, Sellers are requested not to advertise or sell the same goods through other platforms or privately.
Once PR3LOVED has notified the Seller that a Buyer has been secured, the Seller may not proceed with a private or alternative sale of that item.
PR3LOVED operates with integrity and is committed to providing a trustworthy, professional and reliable service to both Sellers and Buyers.
ADVERTISED SELLING PRICE
Please note that the price advertised by PR3LOVED may be higher than the price indicated by the Seller on the Seller Form.
This may be necessary to accommodate factors including:
Buyer negotiations;
Courier and delivery costs;
Additional courier charges associated with the Seller's location;
Administrative or transaction-related costs; and
Other reasonable costs associated with facilitating the sale.
PR3LOVED will always endeavour to achieve the best possible selling price while maintaining a realistic and competitive market price.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. CONDITION OF GOODS
All goods submitted for resale must be in good working order and excellent physical condition, unless any defects, damage, wear or other issues have been fully disclosed to PR3LOVED prior to the item being accepted.
2. DISCLOSURE OF DAMAGE & MISSING PARTS
Sellers are required to disclose all known defects, damage, faults and missing components.
This includes, but is not limited to:
Straps;
Cushions;
Clips;
Feet;
Wheels;
Hoods;
Handles;
Handlebars; and
Any other essential or functional components.
Failure to disclose relevant defects or missing components may result in the Seller being responsible for costs incurred in returning the goods.
3. BUYER INSPECTION & ACCEPTANCE
Goods may be inspected by the Buyer upon arrival.
Where goods do not correspond with the description provided, or are materially different from the condition represented, the Buyer may refuse acceptance, subject to applicable law and the terms of the transaction.
Where a Buyer refuses acceptance, the goods may be returned and the applicable refund process will be followed.
4. PACKAGING & PREPARATION
The Seller is responsible for ensuring that all goods are properly, safely and securely packaged prior to courier collection.
Goods must be adequately protected against damage, dirt, moisture and other potential damage during transportation.
PR3LOVED will arrange collection through its nominated courier service where applicable.
5. REJECTED GOODS
Should a Buyer refuse to accept the goods, the goods may remain at PR3LOVED's premises for collection by the Seller.
Alternatively, the Seller may request that the damaged/dirty/missing parts goods be returned by courier, in which case all applicable return courier costs will be for the Seller's account.
6. LOSS OR DAMAGE
PR3LOVED will not be held liable for any loss or damage to goods while in its possession or during transportation, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
7. NO PRIVATE SALE AFTER BUYER CONFIRMATION
Once PR3LOVED has notified the Seller that a Buyer has been secured for an item, the Seller may not sell or otherwise dispose of that item privately or through another platform.
8. RIGHT TO DECLINE GOODS
PR3LOVED reserves the right, at its discretion, to decline, remove or refuse to advertise any goods that do not meet our standards relating to:
Condition;
Cleanliness;
Safety;
Completeness;
Functionality;
Pricing;
Marketability; or
Suitability for resale.
9. TERMS & CONDITIONS
PR3LOVED reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Updated terms may apply to future transactions and listings.
GOODS THAT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
PR3LOVED reserves the right to decline or refuse to upload any goods that:
☐ Are priced unrealistically or significantly above their current pre-loved market value;
☐ Are faulty, broken or damaged;
☐ Have significant wear or damage that has not been disclosed;
☐ Are missing essential or crucial parts;
☐ Contain mould of any kind;
☐ Are dirty, unhygienic or unsuitable for resale;
☐ Are incomplete or unsafe; or
☐ Do not meet PR3LOVED's quality and resale requirements.
